A Match Made In Heaven

Melody and Mark met during a wine tasting. During their initial conversation, one of the first things he said to her was “You know, I’m going to need a kidney one day”. It was a light-hearted remark at the time. But Mark knew that day would come. Several years after that fateful day, he found his time of need and began to prepare. Mark desperately needed a kidney transplant. It was beginning to seem impossible for him to find a match with his blood type in the timeframe he had to work with. After much prayer and reflection, Melody felt like she was called to help Mark in more ways than the spiritual. It was at this time that she visited the doctor to see if her kidney would fit the bill. When the test results came back, it turned out that Melody was a perfect match! They both knew that God had brought them together. Melody literally breathed life back into Mark. Their love grew exponentially and they both knew that marriage was the next step. Their wedding day was filled with smiles, tears, and laughter. Their story, although one of near-tragedy, ended up spawning a romance for the ages!
